Time off work post op

My surgeon, Dr. Perreira-Hong out of Guelph told me she gives everyone 4 weeks but she was more than happy when I went back to work early.  I was off for 3 weeks and then went back half days for one week and full time after that.  I had no problems and I could have gone back after 2 weeks, but I was using vacation days, so I just enjoyed the last week off. 

My Surgery is 11/12 and I was given 4 weeks.

It's usually 4-6 weeks Your surgeon decides based on what kind of job you have basically.
