when to expect to lose. ..
You're so early out - you're still carrying fluids that were pumped into you and your body is pretty confused trying to heal from the trauma of surgery and the lack of nutrients you're giving it. Walk when you can (most helpful for the gas), rest when you need, and ALWAYS be sipping on water. It'll happen. Your new mantra is "I will have patience. Even if it kills me."

I think most of us have a couple of moments of "what if this doesn't work for me? I'll fail at weight loss once again". This too shall pass, as will your gas, and the weight will start dropping. :)

Hi,
The first month was a little slow going for me. I found that from months 3 to 5 things picked up a lot for me. I think though it really depends on each person as we are all different. I lost more weight once I was able to return to exercise at 7 weeks. then things picked up.
I would not worry about it though..your body will start to lose when it is ready.
