Saw Surgeon today! Have my date!
I saw Dr Jules Foute-Nelong today! He is very nice!! I am a bit bummed i was thinking surgery was going to be very soon! I thought after seeing the surgeon you would start the optifast within a week or so then surgery right after. Well I was wrong! Lol
So i start Optifast Nov 21 (3wks) and Surgery is on Dec 12! I could have chose dec 8th but that was a Monday and i would have to get my daughter to stay at a friends house for a couple school nights. And my daughter's birthday is Dec 10 nd she'd would be upset if I was in the hospital for her birthday!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

It will be here before you know it. Dr. Jules is awesome. I had a glitch and had to be admitted over Thanksgiving-he was the emergency doc on call. Really nice and very very easy on the eyes. You will be in great hands. They rock at Guelph. Good luck to you...Vicky
