There is a London Bariatric Group on Facebook as well as other groups if you're interested. There's also a coffee night tonight that I'm thinking of going to. I think they meet at a Timmy's on Wilton Grove?

I'm going through Guelph as well! I lived in London but am now in St. Thomas! Just received the appointment for the surgeon!! Next Wed the 15th!!

There are coffee nights and meetings at St. Joe's Hospital on every third Sunday of the month I believe. Hoping to get there myself. The coffee night is tonight and I believe they meet at Timmy's at Wilton Grove.

Hey friend! I went through Guelph as well - I am 4.5 months post op. The staff at the Guelph bariatric clinic were amazing, always felt comfortable around them and wasn't embarrassed about my weight or just being me like I used to be. I've had medical staff say "oh wow...." when I respond to the "how much do you weigh" question...doesn't make me feel very good. BUT, they're awesome there, you will feel like you have an added family!
