Question?

My doctor sent out my referral but wasn't sure if I would be going to Hamilton or Toronto. If I live in Oakville does anyone know where I would probably get a call from?

That was interesting!   I was wondering why I was sent to Humber!  

My question is, why did some people I've met in the support group in my town go to another hospital?  

Because the boundaries have changed a few times in the past few years, I suspect due to trying to even out the numbers between centres so some people aren't waiting extensively longer at one centre or another. When the Bariatric Registry first started I input my postal code into the system to see where I would have ended up (if I was still pre-op, I was already at least 5 years post-op at that time out of HRRH). At that time, my centre would have been Hamilton. When I did it again 2 weeks ago, I would have been assigned to TWH.
