Got my surgery date today!

I'm very excited -- I got my date today:  January 5th!  I had to request a date that was post Jan 1, 2015 because my short-term sickness coverage at work changes for the better in 2015, so it made more sense to wait (and it also made more sense in relation to what's going on at work too).  A lot of folks were getting October dates at TWH today.  I'm happy for all those who wanted an early surgery date!  Please keep the bench warm for me, as I'm likely going to be the last one of this lot to get there, but later is better than never!

Having the date is such a great feeling though, right? :) Congrats again! 

Yes, Jennifer, it is!!!  And in some ways I'm glad that I have a bit of extra time to get myself organized.  Doing Opti over Xmas won't be that fun, but it's a necessary evil.  Please stay in touch and let me know how you're doing -- I'll be rooting for you on your surgery day!

I started mine New Years eve. You are the first on the surgery list for next year
