Why is my face red (flushed) while on Optifast?

Hi, I am on day 3 of optifast and my face is constantly flushed... is this typical or is there something wrong with me?

I'm sorry to see that you de-activated and hoping that you're still reading. I didn't originally answer as I assumed someone who had gone through this would have, but anyway.......

I have read on this forum of a few people having facial flushing when Optifast and it turned out to be a sensitivity (or allergy in a couple of cases) to the ingredients in the Optifast, most often the aspartame.

I hope you're reading and able to get this sorted out!
