Dr. Rotstein?

I have heard several names of surgeons going round the boards but haven't yet heard of anyone who's had Dr. Ori Rotstein (St.Michaels Hospital - Toronto) do their procedure. I am meeting with him tomorrow to get my surgery date for a RNY but would like to talk to a few others who've had him as a surgeon so they can tell me their experience.

I had Dr. Rotstein for my sleeve in August. He was wonderful. Very nice and extremely skilled. He is the Cheif of surgery at St.Mike's. The whole team was great and really made me feel better. I was ready to run as I was waiting to go into the operating room but they totally made me feel better. Great experience!!

If you don't mind me asking how long between when you had your first meeting with him and when you had your surgery? I've already been on medical leave since June and it only lasts until December so I am hoping for a swift appointment.

I met with him in June and he gave me a date for September 29 but I asked to be on the cancelation list so I got a call to change it to August 11. His receptionist is super nice too. So I your date is really far away, ask to be out in the list an she will call you ;)

OH! thanks very much :) I met him today it was very quick I mostly talked to his resident Tony. But I didn't get any bad vibes so I think it will be ok lol. Except I did keep hitting my head on a paper towel dispenser but that could also just be my innate clumsiness lol.

Picked up my Optifast though 3 weeks worth (ooooh joy) and just waiting to hear (hopefully monday) on what day the surgery will be :)
