Once you buy and start your opti do you see your surgeon again or just show up on your date.

I'm out of Humber and I didn't see my surgeon again...I actually didn't see him until the day after my surgery. I was already out by the time he got there :)

Referral - Oct 29/13

Info Session - Nov 18/13...1st surgeon appt - Nov 26/13...RN/SW/RD - Dec - 4/13...Dr.Glazer - Jan 8/14...2nd Surgeon appt - Jan 22/14 PATTS - Jan 29/14...

SURGERY!!!! FEBRUARY 11th 2014.

I was out of Ottawa. When I met the surgeon, he gave me the script for the Opti, I picked it up and waited for my date. Got the date, and PATTS before, then got the call the day before to tell me what time to show up. Saw the surgeon in the OR.

The one and only time I saw my surgeon was 10 minutes before I walked into the operating room. Good luck

I met my surgeon at TWH on August 15th, put my order in for OPTI that same day. I have a pre-op appt on October 2nd, but I don't think I'll be seeing my surgeon, just the doctor who knocks me out (can't think of the the word). My surgery is 1 month from today. I start OPTI tomorrow.
