I'm three weeks out, almost four actually, and I've only lost 10! I'm not sure why? I'm following all the rules trying to get as much water in as I can and protein as well as walking a lot. whats going on. ugh this is very frustrating.

Plateau's happen. Yours might just have happened quicker. I lost 20 something in the first 3 weeks and then I plateau'd for almost 3 weeks. Then I lost almost 40 pounds in 6 weeks after that and still going.

You may have only lost 10 (which is still 2.5 lbs a week, not bad) since surgery, but don't forget about the amount you lost on Opti.  Your body could still be catching up from that.  It will keep losing.  Just keep at it.

If your surgery was just on Sept 2 you really are only 2.5 weeks out from surgery and have you ever lost almost 5lbs a week before.  Did you happen to get on the scale when you came home from the hospital because often there is a weight gain from all the fluids that you were pumped with in the hospital so you may have been heavier then you were the day of surgery, I know I was.  Be kind to yourself you are recovering from surgery, if you are following your plan the weight will come off.

Sounds like the infamous three week stall. I actually gained three lbs during my stall.... And I was not happy.  Hang in there, once you hit week 4 you should see some movement on the scale.  I had surgery on Aug 11 - it does start coming off - trust me!

week 1 I lost 12 pounds (so happy), week 2: gained 3 pounds (freaking out!), week 3: lost 6 pounds, week 4: no change (confused), week 5: down 6 pounds (relieved).  My point is that weight loss is not always consistent.  I only weigh once a week now, it keeps me from seeing those daily fluctuations and freaking out. I am 5 weeks out today.  I know it is sooo frustrating and I felt the same when I gained a few pounds and then had no weight loss for a week.  Just keep doing all the right things and you will start losing again when your body is ready.  I found light exercise really helped relieve some of the anxiety during the earlier weeks, recumbent cycling in particular if you are allowed to do that.
