I've been on the bench for a week!
Hi everyone, I sorry I was unable to update everyone, but things went well for me last week tuesday (sept2) I had my surgery, and the docs and everyone say I am doing really well.
Its been such a blessing and I am just learning my way around food again. if anyone has questions ask away, I was at TWH.

I am supposed to get my date for surgery tomorrow morning I'll be having the surgery done by Dr. Ori Rotstein at St. Micheals Hospital downtown toronto. Just a quick few questions that i thought you might be able to answer for me, did you have to fast before your pre-op appointment? I am not sure if i need to and no one has said anything. Also, what did you take with you into the hospital for your stay? i have been known to over pack lol.
Lastly, were you at all scared going under the anesthesia? My twin sister is the only one i've known to be put under before (wisdom teeth) and she was terrified and freaked out during the procedure. I am a little less melodramatic myself with most things in comparison to her but as I will be going alone to the hospital when the time comes (my sister doesn't drive and my mom is a quadriplegic) I'm not sure how freaked out I might be.
