Decaf now and depending on your center anywhere from 3mths on for regular.

10/18/07 RNY ( hw 305 sw 290 lw 189ish) St Joe's 08/14/14 RNY reversal to sleeve. I survived 3 leaks,4 operations and a feeding tube.

I'm surprised you waited. 1st day post op I walked down to the Tim's at HRRH with hubby to get my small black decaf and was sipping it in my room when Dr Hagen came to see me that afternoon before he left for the day!

Agree with other posts. Try with decaf :) You'll be fine with that.

Started adding decaf coffee crystals to my shakes very early out.  I drank decaf tea too.  I am almost three years out and cannot drink regular tea or coffee - too much acid and my stomach starts to hurt and rumble. Any time I have tried regular I have regretted it.
