Good morning everyone!

The night before school starts is always a sleepless one. The bad news...summer vacay is officially over. The good news ... I’m looking forward to the routine that working gives me---scheduled eating and exercise times. I’ve been dealing with some stuff and my past bad eating habits reared their ugly heads. I’m through the worst of it and relieved that I’m focussed once again.

Wishing everyone a good day!

S-Greek yogurt

L-Cottage cheese and diced tomatoes

RNY  5 Years 5 Months Post Op

Morning;

I am with you Libra on routine - I like it!  Weighed myself this morning after 3 weeks of too much indulgence and was pleased to see I am not up much.  Hoping to go low  today to drop most of it in a few days/  Its amazing how a few pounds really makes a difference in your clothing and how you feel.  Pre WLS I felt no difference when up or down 10 pounds.  Now it only takes a pound or two

I am all over the place today so will take a cooler of water with me and a protein bar to tide me over

STEPS - 12480 plus 41 hills and all with one toe still bruised and painful

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

    Premier protein shake

S - quest bar

L - 6 jumbo shrimp with ****tail sauce

D - Panko crusted tilapia

    roasted butternut squash

S - 1 popsicle

     1 Source dessert yogurt

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 993,  Carbs - 87 Grams,  Fat - 25 Grams, Protein - 122 Grams

All water and vits

Have a great one

Meeting with my therapist today to discuss my very high levels of anxiety lately - yesterday I cried for an hour and felt completely down, this morning I feel ok.  Such a rollercoaster ride of emotions.  I have been writing out my feelings but it is still difficult to not feel like myself, wonder when it level out. Will most likely see my family doctor too sometime this week to discuss my health. Today I will go to the gym for some light cycling and I would like to make that turkey chilli I have been saying I will make for weeks.  My appetite was low yesterday so I just focused on getting in the minimum protein. vitamins, and water.

B - protein banana almond mil****d coffee with butter rum sf syrup

L - mushroom soup with protein powder and hot sauce, or one of those tuna kits if I am out

S - chai latte with sf chai syrup

D - turkey chilli with tex mex cheese and greek yogurt

S - sf pudding with protein powder added

In the early weeks after surgery many people are emotional. As women we store a lot of hormones in the fat we carry. We are dumping these hormones as the weight comes off. It takes time for your body to adjust. Hopefully you will feel better soon

Thank you Pat.  I remember reading about this over the past year but it does not really hit home until you experience it.  The strange thing is that last night I was an emotional wreck but this morning I feel normal again.  What a ride!
