Orientation at HRRH on Sept 4th.

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone else is booked for the Orientation at HRRH on Sept 4th. Is there a hotel/motel close to the hospital that I could stay at the night before. Thanks

I believe there is a Comfort Inn right by there. I looked through my paperwork to see if I still had the card but I couldn't find it. Sorry, maybe if you call the center they can help you. Or even just do a search. Probably in the Jane and Finch area.

Thanks I made reservations at the Holiday Inn they had special rates for Bariatric Pts. Not much off but it really is a nice place to stay when we have in the past. Pool to have a swim. Thanks

Christy,  I have no idea about hotel, but I'll be at the same orientation. Where are you coming from?  I'm coming from the Barrie area. 

Great!! I come from the Collingwood area. It's a big step one that I have mulled over for years. This site has really made me feel more confident in my choice. I have had so much negative feed back from some of the people in my life. My hubby has been wonderful. He was in the Dr's office when the Dr told me that this is a wonderful tool for me as I am having bilateral knee replacements this fall. I was going to put my bypass on hold but he encouraged me to move forward and that I will be fine. Hope to meet you there.

My my husband has also been great!  We have two young children (both under 3) and he's totally ready to take on some more responsibility as I do this - long term benefits (long life) outweigh some hard work now!  

Just check your location for orientation. Mine was at the Keele site. & everything else was at the finch site. I know there is a holiday inn across from the Finch site but unsure of anything near the Keele site.
