At the very least, know the surgery you are having. Seriously.

Sorry...but that's kind of uncalled for. Clearly we can see 2 posts down someone recently posted with RYN in the title. Did they make a mistake? Yes....as they said they are VERY early in the process and are in the beginning stages of learning about the surgery.......which is probably why they CAME here in the first place. Should the reception they get be ridicule and judgement right out of the gate? NO. Let's get over it shall we? Be adults about it. They made a mistake and it's not necessary to be rude or make comments like "At the very least, know the surgery you are having. Seriously." As though they are complete idiots. That's what they are TRYING to do and treating people like that is just uncalled for. This is supposed to be a safe, judgement free place where people can come for support of all kinds in relation to gastric bypass surgery and the issues that come with it. I have seen a LOT of this going on lately and it's sad.
Speaking of forum nannies....
How 'bout this - next time I want to post something on a public board on the internet, I'll send you an email for prior approval.

"Petty and judgemental". Hmm. Not words I would use to describe myself. Thank you for your caring insight. I think my idea of sending you emails for prior approval is a good idea since you have such a good pulse on the happenings of this board.
I would tell you to have a great day, but I wouldn't want to sound like I was telling you what to do. So I'll just close with, "I'm having a great day, I hope you are too".
