Hernia's???

Just curious? how you know if you have a hernia?  The past 3 days I have had a weird pain near where the largest incision was made during my surgery 6 months ago.  I have been doing a lot of crunches and sit ups, but not sure if I maybe over did itor if it is the start of a hernia?

Do hernia's hurt a lot or not really?

Any feedback is appreciated.

I've had 3 ventral hernias and one internal hernia.  They can hurt like a ***** but only when the bowel is stuck.  If it's not obstructed then you may just feel a tugging feeling, if the bowel is stuck in there and you will be in tons of pain.  I'd see your doc as they are easily felt.
