I had problems at first with drinking as well. I did get dehydrated and had to go to emerge but what I found helped was drinking G2--it has the nutrients that you need plus the sugar content is lower than most energy drinks. If you keep having problems, call your surgeon's office or emerge as you don't want to get dehydrated. Good luck!

I also had the same issues! What saved me was powerade Zero as well as sugar free freezies. Maybe try those? I wish you luck!

Thanks for your replies!! I am drinking g2 as I type.... Seems ok, but now I feel like I might be getting a bladder infection :(

Try drinking water at room temperature, or try warm drinks like herbal/decaffeinated tea. Cold water did not feel good for me the first few weeks. Surprising but the temperature can make the difference.

I had to walk while I drank. Everything hurt, no matter the temperature. However, it was tolerable when I walked.
