Protein shakes
After the optifast I couldn't even imagine having to deal with more shakes... I don't like that milk like mixture..I get sick just thinking about it... Thank to a friend who told me about Weider Whey Protein Fruit Splash.. I love it ... It like a kool aid lol shhh if you don't think so.. It only comes in peach mango which I don't like but it's much better than a milky like shake...

Omg where abouts could I buy this? I cannot stand the protein shakes and I've only been getting in 1/2 to 1 full shake a day and I was just looking at some protein shots that are isolate and whey protein and thought we couldn't use that I hope we could tho because they are fruit flavored and 28g of protein and I could choke it down in 3 sips oppose to all day drinking one milky protein shake. Today I had to dump my premier shake because it was making me nauseous and I tried it again later on and same thing. Feeling frustrated on getting my protein in.
I buy it at Shoppers Drug Mart.. I think it was $26

I found the Whey shots nasty.......I could not get past the smell or taste.......I bought several and took everyone of them back.....
I read on here about the supplier or protein nectar doing a sample pack. I ordered one, after I (literally) cried while drinking a protein shake! Here is there website: http://www.si03.com/reg_index.htm You have to call to order the sample pack, and the number has spotty connections in Canada (I called from my cell and it was a no go) so I emailed them and gave my cell number, and they called back in about 30 min. Worked out to $22 for 15 shakes. Here's hoping that I find 1 out of 15 that I like!
Pre-surgery I could do the regular shakes, but yes, post surgery, it makes me gag just thinking of it.
I do the Isopure protein drinks. They come ready made and you can get grape, orange, apple melon (my favorite), alpine punch, coconut, peach mango and a couple of others I think.
I buy them at GNC.
They are sort of like gatorade and are not sickeningly sweet like the shakes are.
