RNY  5 Years 4 Months Post Op

Morning

Late this morning - lots on the go today including dinner out.  I am still beat and carbs have made their predictable way back into my diet....(toasted tomato sandwiches, bread and peanut butter when I cant sleep in the middle of the night....ughhh)....just  need a few days of low carbing to get this back into control.

STEPS - 6850

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

    Premier protein shake

 

S - Protein bar

 

L - 2 ham-cucumber roll ups

 

D - 3 cups of chicken cobb salad

     6 oz of Merlot

 

S - Source dessert yogurt

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,225,  Carbs - 39 Grams,  Fat - 25 Grams,  Protein - 104 Grams

 

All water and vits

I hate that carbs are such a good answer for getting back to sleep. They really DO the job though!

Mmmm tomato sandwiches!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Great weight loss on vacation. You will be at goal in no time.

Work today. I have found some work that will keep me busy for quite a while I am so happy LOL. Yesterday went so fast. The person who gave me the work was apologetic because it can be boring. I told her give me more anytime. It is better than doing crosswords.

Off to an Argo game tonight. Not sure where we are eating before. It is not worth me going home and coming back so DH will meet me downtown. Yesterday I had very little walking and I was stiff so today I should get lots of steps.

Thanks Pat ... from your lips to God's ears. You know, other than university, I've never been to a "professional" football game (Argos are football, right?). I think I will add that to my list of things to do this year. Libra, you dear heart, so glad to see you back! No cottage cheese and ketchup today?

I forgot to post this morning - oops. :/

8 years post-op

B - coffee with cream x 3 over the day, source greek 0%

S - Premier protein shake (I hope these never start tasting bad to me)

L - crustless quiche equivalent to 1.5 eggs and a bunch of meat and veggies

S - Chike protein iced coffee, later: handful of grapes

D - 4 oz BBQ pork tenderloin, Caesar salad (not a whole lot)

S - 2 oz Swiss cheese, 3 crackers, a few olives and grapes
