What are you Eating/Doing Today? Wednesday
Ah well, **** happens. Life goes on and so shall I. ;)
The shorts sound like a great option. When I first started back at the pool I was wearing a bathing suit that had fit me up 'til then. NO. LOOK AWAY. Way too loose in the "hoo-ha" area. LOL! Whatever you feel comfortable in is great. :)

I remember the mushroom soup and protein powder days! I loved it!
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
Can't say I love this phase Kelly. But check back with me when I am as far along in the process as you are, I may think differently. At the end of next week I start soft foods and have been dreaming and salivating about my first solid food. I'm hoping that I can handle a nice piece of blackened catfish with a little salsa.
Afternoon all :)
Been a busy-ish day running around, just getting here now. Hope everyone is having a great day - the weather is perfect here (for a change!).

This is my favorite topic to read daily! You all eat so healthy! I downloaded fitness pal, and am learning how to input meals and foods. I am trying to lose some weight, doing low carb, low fat, atkins like eating. It is really helping to see the protein numbers, and measuring for portion control. I figure every bit helps as I am going through the process to get to surgery. I often saw habanaro havarti as a cheese being eaten. Well, I bought some.... love it! Great in a deli meat roll-up. One of my new favorite things!

It's my favourite too - not only do I love the camaraderie of the daily posters, I need it even over 8 years post-op to keep me on track, organized in my eating, and accountable. It's interesting to see what others are eating - I get lots of good ideas reading. And, since I'm such a foodie, I love sharing menus and recipes. Keeps things interesting :)
It's great that you're learning to track your food - keep at it! I really does help you to eat mindfully.
