New to North Bay Area - 1 yr+ post op
Hello all. Reciently we relocated to the North Bay area and am wondering if there are any groups/meetings or gatherings in the area?
Pre-op I met a fantastic group of ladies who helped me through the first year and I know I will miss our coffee meetings and am hoping to meet some new friends up here!

Welcome to North Bay - there certainly is a post op group - they operate daily via facebook but meet once a month at the north bay public library
Surgery Date - AUGUST 22, 2011 - Ran first 5KM Race - Oct 14, 2012 (28 min) - Currently maintaining a healthy 190 lbs and training for my first half marathon in the summer of 2013

Welcome to NB! I'm about a month out of surgery and going to my very first support group meeting tonight. It is at the North Bay Public Library in a meeting room in the children's section from 6:00 to 8:00. Maybe we'll see you there?
Referral: Jun. 11/13; Orientation: Jul. 24/13; SW/NP/Dietician: Nov. 2013. Sleep test Dec. 2014. Sleep apnea diagnosis Feb. 2014. 2nd sleep test Mar. 2014. Psychiatrist follow-up Mar. 2014. Approved by local centre Apr. 2014. Sleep apnea follow-up May 2014. OTN apt with Dr. Sullivan Jun. 5/14. Surgery July 7, 2014.
