You think? How bad off are you Val having the DS.

P.S. I think it's Michael Gagner (Michel) in Montreal, which isn't crossing a whole lot of borders.

I'm actually doing VERY well, nearing my 9 year surgiversary.  I've regained a whopping 14% of my ewl from my lowest weight and it came with boobs again, so I am pleased.  I had to get a physical to get more life insurance than my company offered, and I was so healthy, that they sent me a check to refund the premium difference between the standard person and the super-healthy, which is what my physical results and bloodwork gave them.  Complication rates in the US for the DS aren't any more than the other procedures.

It does take some ***** in a patient to keep healthy because we cannot depend on the medical community to fully grasp our needs, but we share and learn and try like Hell to teach the medical community not to lump us into their generic wls instructions.  The *****y patient won't take that crap and already is aware that their surgeon is not a god.

You may be right about Gagner - it's been a while since he's been in the states so I'm not following much on him anymore.

Boobs are nice. lol I don't personally know anything about that.

It's nice to know that someone "survived" the DS and have done so with success. I get ever-so-tired of the DS debate. Simply another choice.

I don't understand your post Karen.  My last post was directed to someone else that I had common ideas regarding DS with.      I just wanted to thank her as well.  I don't stir up trouble on here so I have no idea why you would think it was a bash in regard to you.

I am so sorry to the poster for detracting from your earlier DS discussion.  On with the DS discussion...

I guess it's over 8 years of experience on this board. Of course you understand my post.
