Swimming in my pool

'Does anyone have an idea when I  can swim in my pool again, I'm 6 days out

I was told by my clinic (Guelph)nurses that I couldn't do anything that would cause me to sweat (ie hot tub, exercise et****il I was cleared by the surgeon).  When I saw the surgeon (3 weeks post op) I specifically asked about swimming and he told me to wait at least until 6 weeks.  He wanted to make sure the incisions were completely healed and closed. ( But I also had a post op infection in 4/6 of my incisions). 

I would think your incisions would have to be fairly well healed before venturing in...you wouldn't want to get bacteria etc in them.

Check with your clinic, but I believe it's two months.  I was doing weight training at 6 weeks.

You have to wait until your incisions are completely healed and dry.  No seeping whatsoever.  And with that, you can only go in and walk around, no swimming until cleared from surgeon which is about 6 weeks.

No getting in water (baths either, showers are ok****il your scars are well healed. No strenuous workouts until you are cleared by your surgeon

I was told no baths, hot tubs, pools or any sort of immersion in water for 6 weeks.
