So excited for tomorrow!

I finally have my meet the surgeon appointment at TWH! Finally!! I will be meeting with Dr. Urbach.

Question - if all goes well tomorrow, should I expect to received surgery date or is it another wait for the phone call scenario? Anyone know how far out the surgery dates are for TWH?

CONGRATS!!!  Dr. Urbach was my surgeon and a fine job he did!!  I got my surgery date at the end of the meeting once the doctor is finished the nurse brings you to another room and the computer has the schedule up and you pick a date together. and then she gives you the sheet for the optifast you bring to the reception to pay or take to Medical Mart in Mississauga yourself to pickup.

That's great! Thank you for the info.  Will be easier to pick up at Medical Mart as it is close to me and I am taking the TTC tomorrow!

I remember how freakin' excited I was to meet my surgeon too. Make a list of questions if you have any (I tend to forget when I get into the office) and know that you're "this close" to a date!

I do have a couple of questions written down....  Does anyone have a question that they wished they had asked the surgeon but didn't? I don't want to waste his time with dumb questions :) 

In hindsight, I wish that I had thought to ask how my pain would be managed in the hospital. I spent a lot of hours in a lot of pain, assuming I was on IV pain meds - turns out I wasn't and felt SO much better once we fixed that little oversight.
