Hi Katherine,

I wouldn't be too concerned re. the BM unless you're feeling discomfort. I wouldn't let it go though. Nothing worse than dealing with constipation issues once it's gone a little too far. Keep an eye on it.

A wee bit of avocado or banana is fine. Keep in mind that the avocado is high in (good) fat and the banana is high in (natural) sugar. Either could cause some bathroom issues early out. I still eat VERY few bananas - too sweet for me and they sit really heavy in my gut.

Make sure that you are drinking enough water.  It can delay BMs if you don't.  And with the heat, it's hard to judge how much is enough.

If you do have fruit or veggies, make sure that they are ripe.  The greener the produce, the harder it is to digest.  Even at 3 years out, I have a hard time with some raw foods, apples for example.  I have a hard time with them raw, but my tummy loves cooked apples.

i'm going to agree with the others. One BM is ok, if you feel ok. If you feel like you need to go and can't, then you need to take something. Increase your water intake.

raw is sometimes harder to digest than cooked. if you tolerate it, then its ok. if not, then its not.
