What happened to "the girls" post surgery?

All the bras I have right now are on their last legs but I'm hesitant to buy new ones since my surgery is in 3 weeks.  For you post surgery ladies, how did your bra size/style change?  How long until you bought yourself a new bra after surgery?

I'm 5 months out & gone from DD to a C cup. I was seriously probably down a cup after opti. Personally mine have deflated like 2 balloons

I haven't been perky for a long time, but mine need lots of support now.  Truely, I need to get properly measured.  But definitely need a bra with lots of support.  Someone actually suggested a padded bra, not for increased cup size but to give a bit of shape back.

If you can hold off for a while, do so, but if not, get a couple cheap bras as you'll likely not fit in them very well for very long.  You'll also notice you'll need to change sizes a few times, Value Village is a great resource for clothing.

I went from 46C to 34B. Big change! Honestly they look better than they did before. Your size will likely change, if you need a bra just for now check out Jie Fresh. They have pretty decent bras for $10-$20

All I can say is don't rush to buy a new bra. I didn't drop in cup size at all. I went from a 44Ddd to a 38 ddd. The minimizer bras have been my friedn keeping the girls looking better than before lol but dam I wished they went on a diet as well.  Give yourself some time before looking for new bras

I just ordered a Fit Kit from Jockey for their new bra system. The bras are $60 a piece which is a lot less than the ones I would buy from Secrets From Your Sister but more than the (crap) they sell at AE. My bra band is already down to a 36, but I have no idea about cup. I am hoping this works! The benefit of the fit kit is that I will be able to monitor my sizes and decide when it's worthwhile to "downsize" lol.

WOW, I'd never heard of the Fit Kit.  Very interesting. Thanks for the tip!  You'll have to do a post once you get your new bra to let us know how it worked out.

I admit that it was something I saw on TV. Forget where, probably an ad. I had never heard of anything like it, and as I'm pretty gung ho about a bra fitting properly, I figured I would give it a go! I will definitely post about it :)

For the longest time I stayed a DD but just reduced the band size. I have lost over 130 lbs. Now I am a D. Value Village has been my Bra store. Once I am done losing I will invest in some really good bras but for now, things are still changing too fast.

I have bought dozens of used bras but do not end up wearing them as they are not comfortable.  Um let me think I could say the girls are becoming boys as they are much smaller and hang much lower.  Or I liked the picture painted by describing them as tennis balls in tube socks.  Like onward said a good bra and your set
