RNY  5 Years 2 Months Post Op

Morning

Busy day ahead......taking my cooler filled with water in the car......eating out for lunch....home for dinner

STEPS - 4650

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     Premier protein shake

 

L - 1 slice of sourdough dipped in olive oil and balsamic

     Poached halibut

     few bites of veg

 

D - 6 oz sea bass

     grilled asparagus

    

S - 2 Source dessert yogurt

    10 low sodium triscuits with 2/3 cup of shredded habanero melted on top

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,134,  Carbs - 83 Grams,  Fat - 34 Grams,  Protein - 129 Grams

 

All water.....more decaf coffee....vits

Good morning Barb and everyone! Hope you all have a great day today. I mostly stuck to the plan yesterday, feeling good.  It helps just to MAKE the plan. Once I plan my food, I pack it, and then I'll eat it at work. The weather isn't cooperating very well with my activity though. Rain and thunderstorms today again, so a second day this week that I won't be riding my bike to work. Oh well. My menu isn't all that exciting either - mostly the same thing I had yesterday.

Looking forward to coffee night tonight - hope to see some of you there. 

1.5 YEARS POST-RNY

B - 1 egg fried in 1 tsp olive oil with 1 slice toasted P28 bread

S - 1/2 cup ricotta/vanilla/splenda plus 1/2 cup fresh strawberries

L - Leftovers - 3 oz jerk chicken, 1/2 cup Jamaican rice and peas, handful of edamame beans

S - 1 slice P28 bread with 1/2 can tuna mixed with 1 tbsp mayo

D - Rotisserie chicken (yup, being lazy), 1/4 cup leftover rice and peas (will they ever be done? they're delicious, but kind of carby), and 1/2 cup strawberries for dessert

S - A cup of mint tea at coffee night

TOTALS: 108g protein, 49g fat, 100 carbs, 1239 calories

Good morning everyone,

Hope everyone has a great day and it's productive. Looks like rain here again to, very foggy.

Pamper myself day, pedi and mani with a girlfriend, and I am pulling the stationary bike out today and getting back on it. That will be my alternitive for rainy days when I can't get out walking much.

Bought a NurtraBullet, having my first drink out of it this morning, spinach, avacodo, mango, banana, and goji berries, and water. Suppose to be energizing...we will see. Taste good though!

 

B- energizing bullet drink, 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese w/ diced tomato

S- cheese string w/ celery and cuke

L- Greek turkey burger all fixings no bun, 1/4 cup sweet kale salad

D- 1 cup ground turkey chili

S- 4 oz milk, 1 source yogurt

Good morning all. Wish the weather would clear up. I do not bike in bad weather so I have not biked for a while. I think I will re-join the pool near work now that it is open again. I am really not exercising enough.

Michelle I will probably be at coffee tonight.

Afternoon all :)

Life got ahead of me this morning and I was out the door to an appointment before I realized I hadn't posted - oops! I hope everyone has a great day. Tanya, ENJOY! You deserve it. :)

8 years post-op

B - coffee with cream x 2, iogo 0%

S - was out and missed it, no wonder I'm feeling empty

L - grilled ham/cheese/onion/tomato sandwich on whole grain bread - I'll likely only eat 1/2

S - other 1/2 of the sandwich, Chike protein iced coffee later in the afternoon

D - 4 oz BBQ burger 1/2 bun all the fixings, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers

S - 4 Triscuits, Bella Vitano cheese, 4 olives, maybe a couple of slices of sikorski sausage

Kids wrote their last exam today. So I guess I am officially done teaching for the year!!!!  I have an interview this afternoon, so  I don't know if i'll have time to work out. Plus, my to has a blister on it and my long runs and walks make the last half hour excruciating to walk home. I may just take it easy tonight. I'm tired, emotional and backed up... sorry, TMI I know.

B: greek yogurt with bran buds on top, chia seeds, matcha powder, bluebrries
S: 1 simply protein mini bar, 1/2 cup cherries (obsessed)
L: tuna salad
S: 2 baby bel and  an apple.
D: 1 turkey burger patty (bought the ones from costco to save money. Saved on flavour too!) with 1/2 cup kale/spinach salad
S: either a protein bar or PB.
