Benefibre + lots of water. If that doesn't help, check with your centre about taking a mild laxative so close to surgery. You don't want to go into surgery backed up.

Good luck!

At pre-op class in Ottawa we were told to take 1-2 Metamucil sugar-free capsules per shake to prevent constipation and up to 4 per shake to treat it. Hope you feel better soon.

I put fiber seeds in my opti fast , do you think that might work?

No idea, only know about the Metamucil.  Hope it works and that you feel better soon.  If you are unsure call your centre on Monday.

Try Milk Of Magnesia. You can get it at any pharmacy. Take a medicine cup full (2 tbs) twice a day. It's a natural laxative

Make sure you get cleaned out before Monday.  You don't want to go into surgery constipated. Senokot works great. I've never tried MOM but heard it works good too.

Good luck on Monday!

Take a senokot before bed! it will get things moving the next morning. I got constipated about 2-3 days before surgery. Senokot is what helped me.. its found at shoppers drug mart.
