New Challenge for Summer!

Well summer is officially here on Saturday, and what better way to start it off, but with a new challenge?!

This challenge is a bit different. Can be used by Fitbit folk, and non FitBit folk!

This is based on a FitBit feature Entitled "Very Active Minutes" This will get us moving a little more efficiently. Whether it be a class, or working up a sweat for an hour of brisk walking/cycling, you can count this as "Very Active Minutes".

It takes a bit more work, because I don't believe you can see your week's total as easily on the FitBit dashboard for the week, just a daily total (if you have a FitBit).

What does everybody think? We can rack up steps daily, but how many of those steps are added from hard work? I will write out the rules, if everyone is on board with this challenge. If you are, please let me know.

Thanks!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Me and my Misfit Shine are in! Not so sure about the "very active" thing - my Misfit tracks it, but I'm not sure that I'm "very active" enough for the challenge. I'll give it a try tho! :)

I do have Netflix and have been saving some series like Orange is the New Black, and the latest season of House of Cards, etc., for just this reason!  Will really miss going to the gym however!  Sigh!  Trying not to feel to anxious about it...!

Just focus on being well after your surgery. Very best wishes to you!

Now, to the point lol - I am a Dexter, Walking Dead, Six Feet Under, Bates Motel, Nurse Jackie kinda girl and am a little intrigued with the Orange is the New Black series - for me you think (question mark dammit, my laptop is having a moment).
