I spoke with the clinic manager and she is having another dietitian call me to discuss my file. She agreed that my file was not handled correctly. I was told not to cancel my appointment with Dr. Klein she said I would be able to go. I am so happy now. Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post for all the support.

Good for you!  If there is one thing I have learned, it is to always advocate for myself.  Just bc someone holds a certain position doesn't mean they rule you, or the process.

speaking of process, I think I got it easy (at least before my horror story of a hospital stay!) bc I went from being told by the clinic in Windsor that they wanted me to see an SW bc I had just come off depression meds, to  being called by HRRH to see Hagen and Glazer, get my Opti and my date, all  in the same day.  I never saw anyone else, even the day of PATTS.  The only time I saw a dietician was after getting out of ICU, for about 10 mins.  Glad it wasn't your withy one bc in the mood I was in, I may have laid her out!  Lol

 YAY !!! So glad it got sorted ! Hope she got a good ' talking to' , so maybe she will think about how she proceeds with future patients . It really is so cool you can get to go ahead and get your date !!
