Acne Anyone?

I am 2 1/2 months post-op and all of a sudden, my face is breaking out like crazy! Has anyone else experienced this? In high school, I only had one pimple at a time, and now they're all over my face. I thought I had mosquito bites on my neck, but I think that's acne too!

This is my first little hiccup since surgery and I'm feeling amazing overall. But this is one little side effect that I'd never heard of before!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi Amy, I haven't experienced the acne breakout (yet) lol but I can only imagine it's the change in the hormones. Losing all the weight quickly triggers all sorts of weird stuff in our bodies. It must be annoying but i hope it clears up quickly for you!

I had all kinds of weird hormonal things happen in the first few months after surgery - acne, I even grew a faint mustache! Luckily both have cleared up ;) I find Spectro Gel works great, along with exfoliating once or twice a week. Glad you're doing well otherwise!

Thanks for your responses ladies. I guess that I'll just have to grin and bear it (and use lots of cover-up!).
