19 Hours to go!
Well tomorrow is it! My surgery is at 1pm at HRRH with Dr. Hagen. I just wanted to give some thanks to all of you before I get knocked out tomorrow LOL.
First and foremost, THANK YOU to all of the support I have gotten over the past year regarding questions from pooping, to optifast, to wait times, to sleep studies, and everything else under the sun. I came into the forum not knowing what to except, or if I will get anything out of it. And I have come to make connections, and friends, and a support system. You guys all feel like my family!
Thank you all for always being positive even when I had some dark days. You really are my rock, and what makes me SO ready to take this journey with the rest of you!
A HUGE thank you to @kimber291 who has been my main support on the forum! You have helped me in more ways than one, being able to follow your post op journey makes me confident for mine!
And to @patm who always got me a little more excited every monday when I saw that surgery list go up! It truly is what has kept my eye on the prize!
All of the other women that have befriended me and contact me, it is so relieving to share so many of my secrets and 'fat moments' with you all and know that I am not alone.
Thank you to all who have wished me good luck already today! It means the world that you are thinking of me :)

Congrats Michelle! You are in great hands with Dr Hagen. I was nervous Nellie, crying when I walked into the OR! Even told him I was scared s@&tless. He was very comforting & compassionate. See you on the bench tomorrow!

Yay!!! Michelle, I am very excited for you. I haven't been on the boards as much lately as the new daily life can be quite consuming, but I'm glad you made it through the dreaded Opti! I hope you have a smooth and textbook surgery and that they take great care of you. We've got a nice spot on the bench, waiting for you!
