Moving in the right direction
I was recently told to up my calories after a slow loss last month and I was SCARED and skeptical about it. I did, although i'm not to the 800 cals that I want but, close enough. I don't know if I'm prematurely celebrating but i've lost 7lbs in the last two weeks. I was starting to have second thoughts yesterday as my face felt puffy and i just felt fat as it feels like i'm always eating and always full. To my surprise today when i stepped on the scale at the gym, i'd lost some weight. That was nice. Just wanted to thank you guys for the help and suggestions you gave me when i asked for help. You guys rock!!!

As we lose weight, our activity level goes up and vice versa. The extra calories get used up quite easily and our body needs them to keep burning that fat.
While looking at http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.ca/ , I took to heart her comment about eating some full fat items. Her reasoning was that the small amount we actually eat doesn't make much difference. I have upped my calories, without eating much more, by eating full fat cheese instead of low or no fat, for example.
Obviously, that doesn't mean everything can be full fat, but a little here and there is actually beneficial.
