Steps 8302 (sick yesterday)

 

Good morning,

Monday again, it seems like the weekend was very very short. Oh well, another week begins.

Still not feeling well, very nauseated.

How is everyone else?

 

B- 1/5 cup ff cottage cheese with ketchup protein coffee

S- 1/2 banana w/ 1 tbs peanut butter

L- 3/4 cup turkey taco soup or chicken broth depending on how I feel

D- same as lunch

S- London Fog Tea at Williams (Union meeting tonight...

Morning

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well Tanya.....appointments - meeting a friend for lunch.....and taking another friend to look at a seniors home this afternoon.......and thankfully home for dinner

School....was just fantastic......felt so good for my brain to be on fire again......and to be in the same room with other exec's.....my brain is a little overstimulated right now....ate well also......still up a pound....but I know its salt

STEPS - didn't wear my fitbit the past 3 days

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     Premier protein shake

 

L - Swiss chalet 1/4 chicken - white only no skin

    chalet sauce

    bit or two of veg

 

D - 2 cups of kale salad

     5 oz beef tenderloin

    2-3 home made baked french fries tossed in olive oil before baking ( 1 TSP in totals)

 

S - source lemon dessert yogurt

     popsicle - lolly brand....70 caloires

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,232,  Carbs - 85 Grams,  Fat - 45 Grams,  Protein - 129 Grams

( checked the ratio's of the above counts....close to the 40/30/30 optimum)

 

All water and vits

Morning everyone. Busy weekend , and the scale is dropping for me again.. I have lost 5 lbs since last Tuesday..More active now so that must be helping..

B- tea, greek yogurt.

S- baked kale chips.

L- bbq chicken and roasted veggies.

S- 4 melba rounds and laughing cow.

D- same as lunch.

S- plain rice cake and some roasted chick peas..

Morning all :)

Been up since 5, just getting around to posting for some reason :/ Tanya, I'm sorry to hear you're still not feeling better - not sure I'd be doing the whole "ketchup and cottage cheese" thing a la Libra if I was already nauseated. LOL Barb, I am thrilled for you re. school. I feel the same way every time I enroll.

Off to see my liver specialist this afternoon for the first time since January - can't wait to hug his surly, snarly little butt. Mean little son of a... saved my life. :)

8 years post-op

B - coffee with cream x 3 over the morning, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

S - 1/2 whole wheat steak stir fry wrap that I made yesterday (so good)

L - Premier protein shake on the way

S - 1 slice whole grain toast with a little mayo and sliced tomato, 2 oz old cheddar

D - BBQ Sikorski sausage (oh how I love Starsky's), sweet kale salad

Hope you feel better soon Tanya. Barb glad you enjoy your course. I sometimes feel my brain is stagnating. I definitely do not pick things up as fast as I used to.

Had my bone density this morning. I always thought of myself as 5'6". It appears 6 years ago I was measured at 5'5.5". As of now I am just 5'5". Not sure I can afford to loss many more inches or I will have to lose more weight. LOL

I tried the Kale salad with apple. Delicious. However I can't believe I did not read the ingredients. It has xanthum gum in it. So a little bowel irritation today. I have a small amount for lunch to fini**** so will see how I react. I will have to check the other bag I bought that is the regular.

s Thin additives (not good for me but a treat)

Had a relaxing and unproductive weekend. Had the weekend off at my second job so I thought "hey, I'll use this time to catch up on marking, get report cards and exams ready" instead I blew through season 2 of Orange is the New Black.

Hoping to get a 10k in today.

 

2.5 years post op.

B: greek yougrt, bran buds, blueberries, chia, matcha
S: 20 almonds
L: tuna, spinach & arugula, brown rice, avocado and salsa
S: 2 baby bel and an apple
Post workout snack: PB, WW bread, banana

Newer post op...lol. 2 weeks out. Got ok from clinic to start puréed(soft) foods.

B premier protein shake

L plain hummus on 2 saltines (tasted so good and no problems) took 1/2 hour to eat. 

S 1/2 cup cottage cheese

D 1/2 cup tuna in water or at least try. 

Steps 8000 approx based on yesterday. I went back to work today. It's sales so no lifting. Feeling good so far. 

Cal 416 fat 12 carbs 14 all water and vitamins
