B- protein coffee, 1/4 cup ff cottage cheese w/ 1/4 cup source yogurt

S= 1/2 a peach w/ 1/2 cup home made protein shake

L- 1 cup turkey taco soup

S- other half of protein shake

D- 2.5 oz chicken breast w/ 1/2 cup sweet kale salad

S- tea, 10 raw almonds

Office work and catching up today.....a ****tail party and lunch at noon.....

STEPS - 5400

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee

      Premier protein shake

 

L - mixture of the following:  Cheese - veggies - salads - meat ...385 calories worth- guessing

    Glass of Chardonnay

 

D - leftover beef tenderloin - 3 oz

     grilled asparagus

     roasted beets

 

S - 100 Gr serving of lemon Source dessert yogurt

     1 Chapmans Lolly popsicle...70 cal

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,054,  Carbs - 64 Grams,  Fat - 25 Grams,  Protein - 95 Grams

 

All water and vits.....more decaf coffee

Good morning all. I had mentioned a few weeks ago I had a cousin in bad shape from bone cancer. I found out yesterday he passed away and his funeral is today. So i am not sure what my eats will be for lunch and afternoon snack. I will have to adjust later

b greek yogurt, granola, blueberries

l protein bar, apple

d short ribs and kale salad

I will have the kale salad i bought because I like it but will probably not buy again. It has xanthan gum and I do not react well to it

Good morning :)

Tanya, glad to hear you're feeling better! And thank you, my appointment was perfect and I'm so happy and relieved that all is well. My iron is low again (knew this already) and my specialist agreed to iron infusions (had them about 2 years ago, worked wonders for me) - I was surprised to get a call later in the afternoon from the hospital and my first is on Thursday - fast service, last time it took months to get in! Not sure what I'm doing today other than domestic goddess duties, having my friend over for dinner. 

8 years post-op

B - coffee with cream x a few, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

S - protein iced coffee (Chike and OMG it is fabulous! My new favourite!!)

L - 1/2 large whole wheat wrap stuffed with BBQ steak, sautéed onions, peppers, mushrooms

S - 4 oz milk first, other 1/2 of the steak wrap

D - BBQ chicken breast (4 oz), 1/2 cob corn, veggie skewers on the BBQ

Where did you get the Chike?

Also, i've had 14 rounds of infusions, and FINALLY my ferritin is at a normal level (girly issues are pretty much resolved, without the hysto). I have another in the fall after my PS fix, and hopefully only once or twice a year. Yay!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
