help with gas

i am Still at the hospital tring to rid myself.  i habe beem walking all day and there still feels like there is a big ball aty highest incision.  pleas help with ideas

i feel like i am on alot of pain and am supposed to go home tomorrow

Hey...so glad to hear your finally on losing side of things :-)

I hadn't passed any at all until the day after I went home. It was horrible. I walked and walked the nurse made me go lay down on a few occasions as I was walking too much. When I got home I took the gas x strips.  I didn't have a choice and they did start things for me. 

Another friend of mine just had her surgery this morning at Humber.  Her name is Heather. She just texted me about 20 minutes ago. 

I hope things start moving for you. I'm sorry I don't have any good suggestions for you. The nurses tell you not to use the strips,  I had them with me....I sure wished I hadn't of listened lol

icant aeem to keep water down.  my nurse has me walking like crazy, then sipping water...then watet comes back up...i didnt think it would be this hard.  how is yourfriend doing.  i felt great at 4am this morning but seem to have gone downhill
