Dr. Amy Neville

I'm getting the VSG with Dr. Amy Neville in Ottawa.  Has anyone else had her do their surgery and how did everything turn out? 

I am supposed to have Neville too, saw her a few months ago.  Have heard she is great.  Really liked her, very easy to talk to and obviously knows her stuff.  I have heard you don't always get the same surgeon as you saw at your meeting though.  Hope we do because I feel at ease with her as my surgeon.

I felt the same way.  I instantly liked her.

I have not met her, but girl I work with did her surgery last year and says is fantastic.

but is true that the surgeon u meet with is not always the  dr doing your surgery. I just had mine done with dr. Mamazza and everything went great.

Dr Neville did my surgery.  She is absolutely sweet. You can tell she's busy, but I really liked her.

The nurse at my first check up said she'd never seen incisions so small and I may only end up with only one that is visable.  I had RNY Dec 5/13 - 6 months ago today.

My sister had her DS performed by Dr. Neville in Montreal May 2013. She absolutely raves about her - personality and surgical skill. she has not had one complication and has lost 97% of her excess weight.

My vsg with her is one week today.  She was fantastic when I met her.  Really listens and good with explaining and answering questions.  Hopefully she is as good with surgery.  I will try to remember to update afterwards.

Just saw that you were supposed to get your surgery in May. Dod all go well? I will have my revision with her. She was very nice at our first few meetings and made me feel at ease.
