What is the suggested amount of carbs we should/can have per meal and or per day after surgery once on "normal food" 😋

thanks, M

When I was in the active losing phase, I kept my carbs very low - generally 30-40g per day, usually closer to 30g if possible. As a general "rule" for myself, I follow a 30/40/40 ratio - 30 % carbs/30 % fat/40 % protein - for the past several years (maintenance).

This is one of those questions that is very personal. You body type, activity level and metabolism will dictate your requirements.

Definitely ask your dietician for their input ;)
