Annette I am so proud of you. You have done amazing. I can't believe it's been a year. I couldn't wait to hear that you were out of surgery and doing well. I look forward to continuing on this journey with you!  All the best.

Thank you so much for this post! It was so heartwarming to read. I am just starting this journey ... I feel like sometimes I am off track, and I wonder (worry!) about how quickly/slowly I am losing, since I have a long way to go ...

Reading about your success and your lifestyle change/improvements makes me feel like it is possible for me. (You will probably hear me screaming all the way up in Canada on the day I can finally cross my legs - I have never been able to do that!)

Congratulations on all of your hard work and success!

What shall I return to the Lord for all his bounty to me?

I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord,  I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful ones.

O Lord, I am your servant; I am your servant, the child of your serving girl. You have loosed my bonds. -- Psalm 116:12-16
