FitBit or Similar Question

I'm looking to buy a fitbit or something similar to help me keep trak of my steps, calories etc. But there are so many different products. Does anyone have a fitbit or something similar that they use everyday? If so what product do you have?  Has there been any problems with it?

I just dont want to spend $100+ on something that doesn't work well!

Are there stores that carry products like this or do I have to buy online? Sorry I am very new at this!

Many of us on here have a Fitbit.  I Highly recommend it.   It counts the steps/stairs/kms very well.  When synced to their website, it keeps track of daily/weekly/Lifetime stats...  You can get a clip on (I have this) and now they have the wristband.  It also has features I don't use, like sleep monitoring and syncing with MyFitnessPal...  This is the first one I have had so I don't have others to compare to.

I bought the cheaper fitbit zip, it clips to waistband or bra, I knew that I wouldn't wear a bracelet all the time, and would never wear it at night to monitor sleep.  It connects with myfitnesspal, which I love for documenting food (protein) and liquids.. I got it at Sportscheck, they seem to go on sale for about 59 every once in a while.

They now sell fitbits in stores. I believe Best Buy has them. Google fitbit and your city to see where sold. I have had the fitbit for over a year and like it. I also have the clip one.

I have the fitbit zip, cute little thing, about $50.00. It doesn't count stairs though, other than that, I love it. I got mine at future shop.

I use a Polar Loop. I got mine at Sport Chek for $100.

I chose it over a Fitbit because it is waterproof. It offers basically the same things as them, but I can use it while in the pool ;)

Waterproof! That's exactly what I'm looking for, thank you for the heads up re. the Polar Loop, will check it out.

Anyone have a Jawbone? They're a tad prettier than the Fit Bit but seem to do the same thing(s)?

I have the Fitbit Flex and I wear it is the shower, pool, etc. It says that you can use it in the water. It is the one that you wear on your wrist. I have had it for about a month and love it!
