RNY  5 Years 1 Month Post Op

Morning

Well I guess I am up first this morning.....golfing at a great course today.....have heard so much about it so I am excited to play....lunch afterwards at the clubhouse so I am guessing on my meal...salad and protein of some kind......out to Panera Bread this evening for dinner

STEPS - 12750

EATS

B - 4 0Z lean hamburg patty

 

S - 1/2 large navel orange

 

L - Cobb salad....or some similiar type

 

D - 1 cup of chicken noodle soup

       small thai chicken salad

 

S - 1 Winn Dixie brand yogurt

      1 40 calorie popsicle

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,215,  Carbs - 92 Grams,  Fat - 49 Grams,  Protein - 87 Grams

All water....2-3 litres....plus all vits

5+ months

Good morning Barb and Libra!

Enjoy the new adventure Barb. I have clubs, shoes etc for golfing, I have even had lessons but I am too intimidated to golf with my friends as they have been doing it for years.  They assure me they won't mind my air swings and duffings and non stop cursing - but I don't believe them!

I just spent the morning in the closet again...all the clothes I bought just two weeks after surgery for wearing in winter (size L) are fitting me now....yes, from 2x/3x to xl/l l in just over five months....crazy...I remember holding them up when buying them and thinking...gosh will I ever be this small, they're so tiny. Am I doing the thing I've been doing for years, buying stuff that will never fit me?? (bought them as they were winter clearouts) now I have a lot of fall winter that fit me now.  I cannot imagine getting any smaller up top....16 bottoms now fit me nicely - omg who knew???!!!

Of course there is a lot more to this surgery than great clothes, but man, it sure feels great. I haven't taken a blood pressure pill since my surgery...I can walk up stairs like a normal person does...I don't have a leaking bladder...I can go on and on...

And here are the eats that are helping me feel so great:

B - greek yogurt vanilla, protein powder, strawberries

S - fat free cottage cheese, turkey pepperette

L - ham cheese roll up

S - pure protein bar

D - chicken breast, asapargus

2.5 years post op.

Got a flat tire this morning on my way to work. (Perfect way to start the week) After being sick last week I was sooo looking forward to going to Bootcamp after school today, but now I have to go pick up my car. Grrr Hopefully time will allow me to get to the gym!

B: greek yogurt, bran buds, chia seeds, blueberries
S: 1 simply protein mini bar
L: 2 boiled eggs, 1 slice WW toast, 1 tsp margarine, 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes
S: 2 baby bell & an apple
D: 4oz shake n bake chicken, 1/2 cup kale salad
S: 2 tbsp PB
