New Goal Weight..
Hi Robin, thank you.. Robin i followed the rules and stayed focused...And i LISTENED and took advice from the vets on this site. They have helped me more than anything. I have been very lucky in the way the weight has come off. I am active and i now go to a weight loss support group as well. Support is very important... I am not perfect and slip up , but i get back on the horse and keep going...I am hoping you keep posting , i would love to cheer you on during your journey......Krista..
You have done very well and are very smart to continue to lose. I was advised from the start to go 10, 20, or even 30 pounds under my surgeon's goal for me. On every post-op visit he reminded me that regain happens and that I needed a cushion for that.
I only lost eight pounds under goal. I did not do anything to stop losing, the loss just stopped on its own. During year three, I quickly gained back twelve pounds. I have been fighting ever since just to stay at my goal or a few pounds above it.
