Weird Zinging Pain

VSG on 09/17/13

I've been getting (since last week) these zings of pain -- internally, on the left side, above my belly button. They only last a second and only happen 2 times a day. Could it be nerves mending? Should I be concerned? Any insight appreciated.

I think that's where one of the larger incisions was; I've been getting something similar. Probably healing tissue/nerves. Someone on the main RNY board may know...

Sounds like your body healing...if you are worried definitely ask your centre, but, it is probably just your body healing :) I remember having weird feelings like that...

you shouldnt still be having pain. Pain around the belly button is concerning, even if it comes and goes. I would speak with your WLS centre about this.
