I've lost just short of 10 lbs in 10 days on Opti.

Hey....My surgery is on May 23rd also at HRRH!!

SURGERY @ HRRH with Dr STARR on May 23/14 >>ORIENTATION WEIGHT 372lbs // OPTIFAST START WEIGHT 334lbs // SURGERY WEIGHT 319 lbs // 3 MOS POST-OP 261lbs

Three weeks on Opti here, and I lost 26 lbs. Amazing stuff!

It varies so much by the individual. Were they dieting before starting Opti? How much weight overall do they need to lose? Do they have any metabolism issues?

I was on Optifast for 3 weeks and lost approx. 21 lbs. The first 15 lbs was in week one.

I was not dieting bu****ching what I ate, and stabilized my weight for last month, but was surprised at first week of weight loss, was assuming would be around 5 lbs, and lost almost 10, but happy about that is added bonus before surgery

Opti is used to reduce the size of your liver before surgery. Losing weight is a bonus Everyone is different.

I lost 13lbs when I did opti.
