What are you eating/doing today (Saturday)
RNY 5 Years 1 Month Post Op
Morning
Going to walk the golf course today..... golf course not open yet due to the tough winter......just walk....out for dinner this evening where I am going to have a glass of wine!
My physical went great yesterday......still back issues which I am going to have re-xrayed......but my labs are fantastic......other then my calcium is high so I have been asked to stop taking calcium supplements.....which scares me.......my parathyroid was high a year ago.....which meant my bones were leaching calcium from my body......now my parathyroid is back to normal but calcium on the high side......and they worry about too much calcium and heart.....so I am actually going to still take one dose until I meet with St Joes and the weight loss team in June...and confirm no calcium
I am also surprised that my B12 is great.....I have never taken a supplement for B12 yet I have great labs.....and I believe most take this supplement from the beginning....anyway, no complaints.....just so happy all looks good

Great news from the doctors. Less vits would be so cool. I hope they figure out the back issues. I take b12 everyday.

Morning :)
Glad to hear all is well with you, Barb - it's always such a relief to get good labs back. Even mine have been excellent the last couple of months, which is extremely promising and a HUGE relief to me. Off to a Kentucky Derby party this afternoon - BBQ, derby pool bets with my friends, going with my friend Andrew, fun for all. :) Eats will be nibbling on (smarter choice) apps and likely a burger and salad - that's what I'll record here.

Good morning Barb,
Glad your physical went well. I am having trouble getting motivated to move today. But the dog needs a walk so I am going out shortly. I am hoping some fresh air will help me get motivated to move. Contemplating riding my bike to Kensington Market but will probably just drive.
