Today: Work, then the Toronto East Enders coffee night tonight. Had a sluggish day at work yesterday. Forgot that I had a full day meeting, which also meant that I couldn't get to the exercise room yesterday. I think I had less than 5000 steps. Today might be similar because I have another full day meeting. I like it better when I have a day where I'm getting up and moving a lot, walking all over the building, taking the stairs a lot, etc. That happens more than this kind of day, luckily.
Yesterday someone brought a bunch of Easter chocolate to the meeting. I gave in. I hate it when people do that! They mean well, they do it to be nice, and it kills me almost every time. There will probably be more there today, sigh. And I didn't end up getting my protein bars yesterday, unfortunately, which I often use to ward off candy when I know it's going to be served. Maybe I'll see if a Shopper's Drug Mart has some Quest bars on the way to work today.
17 MONTHS POST-RNY - MAINTENANCE

S - 1/2 cup ricotta/vanilla/stevia mix with 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
L - Leftover homemade Thai chili basil shrimp from last night (1 serving), over 1/4 cup basmati rice
S - 85g Yin-Yang Soyfood tofu snack, in black bean sauce (this stuff is really good - haven't had it in a while), and 1 clementine
D - Leftover turkey dinner from Sunday night (gotta eat it or it'll go bad) with trimmings
S - Cup of tea tonight at East Enders night, probably a glass of milk when I get home
TOTALS: 94g protein, 43g fat, 94 carbs, 10g fiber, 1107 calories
I doubt this will be enough to keep me full - I might have to add something at some point today. We'll see. I'll try to make it healthy.
Have a great day, everyone!

Come to Toronto East End Coffee Nights! Click here for details.
The kids I teach are always bringing me cupcakes in celebration of something ... very tempting ... except when they've made them (eww--secret ingredient boogers..lol!). The good news is today's a new day with great possibilities (can you tell I've just read one of my affirmation books). Hope you have a great day!
Good morning all. What a cold windy day. Barb will wish she stayed in Florida. Another day at work then off to East end coffee. I put chicken in my menu for dinner then realised I forgot to take it out of the freezer. I may call my husband to bring some home.

April something is wrong with your numbers. What you have posted as far as carbs, protein and fat actually add up to way more 1057 calories so either those numbers are off or the calories are off. Each carb is 4 cals, each protein is 4 cals and each fat is 9 so when you do the math it should come up to 1057 but yours doesn't.
Pre-op
Tried out ham and lf swiss chesse rolled up together and I really like the combination. Does anyone know if you can freeze them for lunches or would they get all gross? In the past I have made sandwiches and they froze fine, but not sure whether it would work if there is no bread?
