Hi I;m from Belleville. Have been in classes in Kingston for 18 months now. Getting a bit tried of waiting. I'm hoping to have it done in May. I live down south for the winters and hope thi surgery doesn't interrupt the next season. Will keep my fingers crossed.
Hope you the best for the 22. Who' your surgeron?
Hey I saw on the news that you guys are having some flooding problems. I hope you are not affected by this. My Dr is David Lindsay snd I will be going to St. Josephs Hospital in Toronto. Yes I hope you get your surgery over with before next fall it would be ashame to miss your winter fun. Where do you go? We are planning to go to Myrtle Beach next winter for a while. Looking forward to all this being behind me. It feels like my life has been put on hold untill I get through this. We still have quite a bit if snow here so watch out for the water. :-) Val

We leave Monday as we are about 6-7 hr drive from the hospital depending on weather and traffic. Take care and chat again soon. :-) Val
Gail dont worry it will come before you know it. Besides it will give you more time to learn as much as you can. I feel great! I had such a great experience at St Joesephs in Toronto. My surgery went very well and I feel so good. Everything I have eaten so far I am handling well. I am home now and I could not be happier. chat again soon:-) Val
Hi Val
Just wondering how you're doing. This weather sure doesn't help the mood. It's still cold here. My brother goes in the walleye fishing derby every year and that's this weekend. All the guys were just here for Beef Barley soup and homemade bread. They'd been out since five o'clock this morning. They were nearly frozen. But guys will be guys they went back out and again tomorrow. I stay in the cottage, keep warm and cook for them. Hope they get fish for dinner LOL
Hope you're doing great and the pounds are disappearing
Gail
Hey Gail im doing very well my total weight loss is now 50lbs im 12 days post op and I lost my first 5lbs since my surgery. I was starting to get alittle nervous because I did not lose anything after surgery but I was told by ladies on the site to ignore the scale and just cconcentrate and stick to the plan which ive been doing and today I was down 5lbs. Had a little bit of a problem in the bathroom area. Those pain pills really do bung you up. So thats ok now. I dont take anything for pain any more. Wednesday of this next week I start on pureed foods so im waiting to see how that goes. So all in all im feeling pretty darned good. How are you doing?
