I have a date

As patiently as I could I waited for my turn and it has finally come.

April 14/14 in Hamilton with Dr. Anvari. 

I don't have to do the optifast, which is a good thing because yesterday when I got the script for it the pharmacy was closed for inventory.  I will sound like a broken record, but I am freaking out... no matter how much I wanted this day to come where I could post my date, I am incredibly nervous.  I was kind of looking forward to the optifast to get me in gear towards surgery and I find it strange, but I will take it.

Congratulations - not sure which is more awesome, the date or the no opti.  You go girl!

Congrats Leafchick17!!! So happy for you and jealous at the same time!! lol So lucky about the Optifast!!! It will all work out in the end ! I am going to Hamilton as well. Have my Orientation this Monday! May I ask how long you waited for surgery from your Orientation? Don't worry about the nerves, I am sure they will resolve, it's normal when it's such a big life change ! Good luck on the 14th !!! Will watch for your posts to see how your progressing!

You don't have to take opti May I ask why? Im so jealous. I too have surgery on the same day but I am at Humber River in Toronto. I am booked for the OR at 10:00 what time is yours

I was told not to bother with the opti as the surgery was booked too soon and I wouldn't get the full 2 weeks in.  I was also told that because my BMI isn't higher it would be fine not to do it.  Trust me I'm freaking.  In my mind I'm thinking I should be drinking only those right now and here I am having normal meals.  Low fat meals and no more than 1200 calories for the day.

I am scheduled for 12 noon.  You will be done while I'm hyperventilating - LOL.  Good luck to you!  I hope you are as excited as I am to be at this point.
