Personally, I was a basket case. I started falling apart about 24 hours before surgery. Perfectly normal. You'll be fine. Enjoy the ride to your new life

I was the same on the ride to Ottawa the day before surgery. I was sobbing for about 10 mins. It is a life changing event. You will be fine and it will be done before you know it and you will be on the road to recovery! Best wishes.

Just keep your brain busy with something so you do not have time to worry.  And cry if you need to, its ok and will help release those feelings. Be sure to let us know how you are doing when you feel up to it.  Hugs!!
