One Year Follow Up in Ottawa
Hello everyone,
Yesterday I had my one year follow-up in Ottawa with the NP. Surgery was March 12, 2013.
Everything went very well. All of my labs are great, she was happy with my food/fluid intake and exercise routine. We reviewed my medications/vitamins and everything is good there. I was weighed and I have lost 110.8 lbs according to their scales since I started Opti on Feb. 21/13. I have lost 80% of my excess weight and couldn't be any happier!
Now the hard part....keeping this weight off, maintaining my exercise routine and keeping up with my good eating habits :) There is temptation everywhere!! And, sometimes it is so hard to get to the gym when the bed feels so good, lol!
I will see them again in one year, unless I feel that I need to see someone before then. I can call or make an appointment any time I feel I need some support.
I am very excited to see what this next year brings me!!

Use it to help you stay strong for the road ahead. Just take it one day at a time. If you overindulge one day then back to basics the next. Easy to say, maybe not as easy to do...but that's my plan.
